SALZBURGER
GITARRENQUARTETT
The members of the ensemble are former students of the University of Mozarteum in Salzburg/Austria.The group was founded in 1994. Their common interest is to show the guitar not only as a solo instrument and to explore literature which is actually not typical for this instrument.
Due to this the repertoire of the Salzburger Gitarrenquartett contains as well traditional compositions as music from contemporary composers, which is situated between classic and modern style.
